International Union of Interventional Oncology and Translational Medicine

Introduction

The International Union of Interventional Oncology and Translational Medicine，jointly initiated by Professor Guo Zhi from Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, Professor Yan Zhiping from Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, and Professor Zhao Ming from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, was officially registered and established in August 2024. It is an international non-profit academic organization. The alliance is committed to disseminating key new targets for minimally invasive tumor intervention therapy and innovative tumor treatment, as well as research hotspots and advancements in clinical translational research, to leading international oncologists. It aims to accelerate the application and translation of new therapies in the field of minimally invasive tumor intervention therapy and related innovative drug and technology research and development within the global oncology community, bridging the gap between research and clinical application based on minimally invasive tumor intervention therapy.
